Here’s your weekly update on team standings for LA sports that are going on this week, 8/4-8/11. First off-
🔵The Dodgers have gone 2-3 since my last standings update. Their first place lead in the NL West is now 4.5 games. Not good.
🔴The Angels have gone 3-3 since my last standings update. Pretty soon they’ll wave the white flag and may tank.
⚫️MLS season is on hold for Leagues Cup. LAFC have made it through to the knockout stage. They will play Austin FC.
⚪️LA Galaxy have made it through the Knockout Stage and will play Seattle!
⚫️Angel City FC played no games in NWSL since the season is on pause for the Summer Olympics until August 18 but they have made it through the knockout stage for the NWSL x Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup.
🟣LA Sparks season is on-hold currently for the Olympics.
