Here’s your weekly update on team standings for LA sports that are going on this week, 7/14-7/21. First off-
⚫️LAFC had one of their ugliest losses last game losing big to Columbus. But somehow they remain in 1st with Galaxy and RSL losing.
⚪️LA Galaxy lost to Dallas last game. They had a chance to sit in 1st alone but lost. Still tied for 1st place.
🔵The Dodgers have gone 1-5 since my last standings update. Things are not going well for the Dodgers. Ugly baseball but they do have a ton of injuries which are part of the problem. Now is the All-Star break so hopefully they can rest and get healthy.
🔴The Angels have gone 4-3 since my last standings update. A sweep saved them with a winning week. They go into the All-Star break with a 3-game win streak and 10 games back from 1st in AL West.
⚫️Angel City FC played no games. NWSL season is on pause for the Summer Olympics until August 18.
🟣LA Sparks have gone 1-1 since my last standings update. Still 3rd worst in WNBA.
🟣🔵Summer League in Las Vegas has begun. Clippers are 2-0 while Lakers are 0-1.
