Here’s your weekly update on team standings for LA sports that are going on this week, 6/23-6/30. First off-
⚫️LAFC are finally 1st in the West! With a win and a tie since my last standings update, this shoots them up to first place!
⚪️LA Galaxy won both their last 2 games since my last standings update and are also now 1st place! They picked up a huge win against Real Salt Lake which allowed this to happen!
🔵The Dodgers have gone 4-2 since my last standings update. They sit comfortably in 1st in the NL West for now. But they are 4 games back from having the best record in MLB.
🔴The Angels have gone 2-3 since my last standings update. Still no signs of life of being a playoff team this year.
⚫️Angel City FC finally won since my last standings update but they also lost a match. They move up to 10th place with just 1 point from being a playoff team.
🟣LA Sparks have gone 0-3 since my last standings update. They lost their last 6 games and are the 3rd worst team in the WNBA. Things are going rough for them and perhaps a tank for last is the move now.
