Here’s your weekly update on team standings for LA sports that are going on this week, 10/20-10/27. NBA season starts today! First off-
⚫️The MLS Regular Season is complete. What an ending to the season. LAFC wasn’t in 1st in most of the season but in the last game they clinch 1st in the West! They will play the winner of the Vancouver/Portland Wild Card game for their 1st round of playoffs.
⚪️LA Galaxy just needed to tie or win to clinch 1st in the West but failed in the last minute and finished the season clinching the 2nd seed in the West. They will play Colorado Rapids in the 1st round of the playoffs!
🔵The Dodgers have made the World Series! They play the New York Yankees in the World Series for the first time in 43 years! Let’s go Dodgers!
⚫️Angel City FC remain in 11th, however, their playoff chances are officially over. Just 1 game left in the season and they’re too far out to make playoffs.
🔵Rams have gone 1-0 since my last standings update. Still last in the NFC West but with Cooper Kupp coming back this week maybe things can change.
🟡Chargers have gone 1-1 since my last standing update. Although they don’t have the best record, playoffs can still happen but with all the injuries it may not happen.
⚪️NHL season is here. LA Kings are off to a solid start being 2nd in the Pacific!
⚫️The Anaheim Ducks aren’t off to the greatest start but super early in the season to judge.
🔵🟣NBA season starts this week! Next week we will have NBA Standings!
