Here’s your weekly update on team standings for LA sports that are going on this week, 8/18-8/25. First off-
🔵The Dodgers have gone 4-3 since my last standings update. Their first place lead in the NL West is now 3 games. It was 3.5 last week in my standings update.
🔴The Angels have gone 1-5 since my last standings update. Not going well and seems it’s now tank time.
⚫️MLS season is still on hold for Leagues Cup. LAFC have made it through to the Semi-Finals after beating Seattle 3:0. They will play Colorado Rapids!
⚪️LA Galaxy did not play any games as they got eliminated from the Leagues Cup last week. MLS season is set to resume this week!
⚫️Angel City FC played no games in NWSL since the season is still not back but will return this week. Angel City did play a friendly against FC Juarez and destroyed them 7:0!
🟣LA Sparks basketball returned last week! Unfortunately Sparks went 0-3 and are now tied for the worst record in the WNBA.
🔵Rams beat the Chargers in preseason and are now 2-0. Depth is looking good.
🟡Chargers continue to struggle in preseason and are 0-2.
