Los Angeles Sports Team Standings Week of 10/2/23


Here’s your weekly update on team standings for LA sports that are going on. First off-


⚫️LAFC have fallen to 4th place. Not good at all. Their last 4 games, including the Campeones Cup, they have scored 0 goals. If they keep this up they will surely get out of the top 4 and will lose home field advantage. Only 3 games left and 1 point away from falling out of the top 4. LAFC need to step it up.

⚪️Another tie for LA Galaxy and now 6 points away from playoff contention instead of 5 points away like last week. Galaxy tied their last 2 games and they have 4 games left in the season. They need to win all 4 remaining games or else there’s a good chance they won’t qualify for playoffs.

🔵The MLB regular season is over so this is the last time I will update on MLB Standings this year. Dodgers made it to 100 wins but the job is not done. Playoffs start this week and Dodgers play their first game in the NLDS on Saturday against either Milwaukee or Arizona.

🔴That’s it for the Angels. Final record 73-89. Failed to qualify for playoffs. Who knows what’s next for them but no more Angels baseball until next year.

🟡Chargers have won their 2nd game in a row including picking up a win against division rivals, Las Vegas Raiders! This shoots them up to 2nd in the AFC West. Chargers have a bye next week.

⚪️Rams pick up a hard fought win to go 2-2 for the season. They still sit in 3rd place in the NFC West depending if the Seahawks win today.
