Here’s your weekly update on team standings for LA sports that are going on this week, 5/5-5/12. Basketball and hockey is officially over for LA sports. Expect us to post season reviews soon. First off-
🟣Lakers lost the series to the Denver Nuggets, 4-1 in the 1st round. The Lakers never really stood a chance and they will now focus on the offseason.
🔵The Clippers lost to the Dallas Mavs 4-2 in the 1st round. If only Kawhi was healthy. They will now focus on the offseason.
⚪️LA Kings lost the series to Edmonton Oilers, 4-1 in the 1st round. 3 years in a row they’ve lost to them. Kings will now focus on the offseason.
⚫️LAFC lost miserably to the last place team in the West. This brings them down to 7th place.
⚪️LA Galaxy tie and fall down to 3rd place.
🔵The Dodgers have gone 5-1 since my last standings update. They continue to kill it winning 11 of their last 13. They have a 5.5 game lead in 1st place in the NL West.
🔴The Angels have gone 2-4 since my last standings update. Meanwhile, the Angels continue to be bad. The Mike Trout news doesn’t help. They’re tied for last in the AL West and haven’t won a series in their last 9 series.
