Here’s your weekly update on team standings for LA sports that are going on this week, 4/8-4/15. First off-
🟣Lakers have gone 3-1 since my last standings update and remain in 9th. They have won 9 of their last 11. Unfortunately, it’s not enough. Just 3 games left for them and they’re 1.5 games back from 6th place/getting out of the play-in tournament. It would take a miracle but let’s see.
🔵The Clippers are 3-1 since my last standings update and remain in 4th place. 4th is the best case scenario for them. They have 4 games left and probably don’t need to win all their remaining games to remain in 4th since they have a 2 game lead over Mavs but let’s see.
⚪️LA Kings have gone 3-1-0 since my last standings update. They are out of the Wildcard again for now but it’s too close. They have just 5 games left in the season and need to try to win them all to remain out of wildcard.
⚫️Anaheim Ducks are 1-1-1 since my last update. 4 games left for them and they have the 3rd worst record in the league. Hopefully it’s enough for the 1st pick.
⚫️LAFC beat LA Galaxy their last game! This jumps them up to 5th in the West and 3 points from 1st place.
⚪️LA Galaxy lost to LAFC to get their first loss of the season. Still pretty high up in standings being 2nd best in the West.
🔵The Dodgers have gone 4-2 since my last standings update. Not too bad as they sit 1st in the NL West with a 3-game lead. Lot of games to go.
🔴The Angels have gone 4-2 since my last standings update. Not bad after starting out 0-2. Still hard to say if they’ll be a playoff team but let’s see.
