Here’s your weekly update on team standings for LA sports that are going on this week, 4/21-4/28. NBA and NHL Playoffs have now begun. First off-
🟣Lakers are facing the defending champs Denver Nuggets in the 1st round. Lakers lost Game 1 and they play Game 2 tonight. It’s still anyone’s game for the series win.
🔵The Clippers are facing Dallas Mavs in the first round. Clippers took care of business and won Game 1 without Kawhi but it’s far from over.
⚪️LA Kings have finished the season 44-27-11 with 99 points and 3rd in the Pacific. They play Edmonton Oilers in Round 1 for the 3rd year in a row with Game 1 tonight!
⚫️Anaheim Ducks finished the season 27-50-5 with 59 points and the 3rd worst record in the NHL. They obviously missed playoffs so their season is done.
⚫️LAFC tied last game again. They’re now 7th in the West.
⚪️LA Galaxy won last game again and remain in 1st in the West!
🔵The Dodgers have gone 2-4 since my last standings update. They have lost their last 3 series in a row at home. Things are pretty bad for the Dodgers but they somehow remain 1st in NL West. Still a lot of games to go.
🔴The Angels have gone 2-5 since my last standings update. They have lost their last 4 games. They are trending towards the wrong way and although there’s a lot of games to go, things can get bad fast.
