Los Angeles Sports Team Standings Week, 4/15-4/21


Here’s your weekly update on team standings for LA sports that are going on this week, 4/15-4/21. First off-


🟣The regular season is officially over! Lakers final record is 47-35 and they finished in 8th place. Not the best result but at least they’re not eliminated yet. They’ll play 1 game against the Pelicans and if they win, they’re 7th seed. If they lose, they play the winner of 9th-10th seed for the 8th seed. I think they can get 7th seed but let’s see.


🔵The Clippers final regular season record is 51-31 and they secured the 4th seed. They will play the Dallas Mavs in the 1st round starting on the 21st.


⚪️LA Kings have gone 2-1-0 since my last standings update. Just 2 regular season games left and they’re barely holding on from falling to wildcard. If they win their last 2 games they’ll secure the 3rd seed in Pacific and likely play the Edmonton Oilers for the 3rd year in a row.


⚫️Anaheim Ducks are 1-2-0 since my last update. Just 1 game left for them. They have secured the 3rd worst record in the NHL. Let’s hope that’s enough for the 1st overall pick.


⚫️LAFC tied last game and fall to 6th. A game they should have won. Still anything can happen as we’re only 8 games in.


⚪️LA Galaxy won last game and jump back up to 1st place in the West! Pretty nice start so far.


🔵The Dodgers have gone 3-3 since my last standings update. Not the best week as they lost a series to the Padres but Dodgers still remain 1st in the NL West.


🔴The Angels have gone 2-4 since my last standings update. They’ve lost 3 series in a row. But somehow they’re only a half game from 1st in the AL West.
