Here’s your weekly update on team standings for LA sports that are going on this week, 3/17-3/23. First off-
🟣Lakers have gone 0-2 since my last standings update last week and fell back down to 10th place. Not good. Just 14 games left and they really need to hit a win streak now or never to get out of the play-in tournament.
🔵The Clippers are 1-3 since my last standings update and remain in 4th place. Things are going bad for the Clippers. They are 6-8 since the All-Star break. Right now they would play the Pelicans in playoffs if it started today and they don’t want that as they struggle against them.
⚪️LA Kings have gone 2-2-0 since my last standings update. They remain in 3rd in the Pacific but it’s super close. If playoffs started today, they would play the Oilers once again for the 3rd year in a row. 15 games left in the season for them.
⚫️Anaheim Ducks are 0-4-0 since my last update and lost 6 in a row. They were eliminated from playoff contention yesterday. Hopefully this draft they can get a first pick.
⚫️LAFC lost last game. They are not looking good and haven’t scored a goal their past 3 games. Still early in the season but something needs to change.
⚪️LA Galaxy tied last game and remain undefeated still. Although they have tied 3, Galaxy are looking nice so far.
🔵Dodgers continue to kill it in Spring Training and still have the best record in Cactus League. They went to Korea last week and won both exhibition games. Wednesday, the season starts for them!
🔴Angels have lost 5 in a row. Offense hasn’t been good. Although it’s only Spring Training, their regular starters aren’t looking too good.
