Eduard Andrés Atuesta Velasco is a 26-year-old Colombian professional footballer. His most recent stint was with Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras, a prominent club in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, the highest tier of Brazilian football.
Atuesta embarked on his professional career in 2016 with Independiente Medellín in his home country of Colombia. During his two-year tenure, he clinched the Categoría Primera A title in 2016. In 2018, he made the move to the United States to join Los Angeles FC in Major League Soccer, where he spent four seasons. Throughout his time at LAFC, he made a total of 111 appearances across all competitions, contributing 9 goals and 23 assists. Atuesta was named a MLS Best XI in 2019 and MLS All-Star in 2021.
