Ducks Trade for D Jacob Trouba

Official trade call with the league hasn’t happened yet, so still pending that approval, but it will be defenseman Urho Vaakanainen and a fourth-round pick to the Rangers for D Jacob Trouba.

Ducks take on full Trouba contract. No salary retained by Rangers, per Pierre LeBrun.

Jacob Trouba served as the Rangers captain since 2022 and led them to much success. This year, however, has not been good for him. Trouba aggressiveness is similar to Radko Gudas.
