For the second consecutive year, the Los Angeles Dodgers are acquiring infielder Amed Rosario at the trade deadline, per Jeff Passan. This time, Rosario in exchange for minor league RHP Michael Flynn. The Dodgers designated LHP Ryan Yarbrough for assignment in order to make room for Rosario.
Rosario was acquired near the trade deadline last season by the Dodgers as well. This year for the Rays, he has a .307 AVG in 76 games. Dodgers are in need of a SS while Mookie is out. Rosario can also play 2B, 3B, and outfield. Solid pickup.
