The Dodgers have made a series of significant moves today:
INF Max Muncy has been activated off the IL. He has not played since May as he’s been recording from a right oblique strain.
Utility man Tommy Edman has been activated off the IL for the first time this season and will make his Dodger debut! He will play primarily CF for now.
Andy Pages has been optioned to Triple-A, Oklahoma. He is expected to be called in two weeks when rosters are expanded. Currently, he’s hitting a .246 AVG, 9 home runs, .693 OPS in MLB.
SS Nick Ahmed has been designated for assignment. No surprise there as he was only going to be here temporarily all along. Hit .229 AVG, .537 OPS with Dodgers.
C Hunter Feduccia has been recalled from Triple-A to be the backup catcher while Austin Barnes recovers. Feduccia has only 1 MLB at-bat coming last month.
C Austin Barnes is headed to the Injured List. He has a fracture in his left big toe. Played thru it the last 7 innings yesterday. He is expected to be there a minimum stint
