Free agent C/F Harry Giles III has agreed on a two-way NBA contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, Per Shams Charania. Lakers add depth due to injured Christian Wood and Colin Castleton.
Giles, 25 years old, is the No. 20 overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft – made the Nets roster in training camp this season and averaged 3.4 points and 4.1 rebounds in five minutes per game over 16 contests for Brooklyn. He averages 5.6 PPG, 3.6 REB, in 12.1 MPG (158 games). Not bad. He is a product of Duke Univeristy, a prestigious basketball school. He just needs the right development to be good.
