Angels Moves 7/22/24 José Quijada Activated; Adam Cimber DFA’ed

Angels have made some significant roster moves today:

-The Angels activated LHP José Quijada, who is just back from Tommy John surgery and has not pitched since April 2023. He was off to a good start in 2023.

-They optioned Jack Kochanowicz. Has allowed 12 runs in 2 starts (7 innings total).

-They DFA’d RHP Adam Cimber to open a spot for Quijada on the 40-man roster. Cimber had a 7.03 ERA in 28 relief appearances for the Angels this year.
