The #Angels have claimed RHP Nick Robertson off waivers from the St. Louis Cardinals and LHP Brock Burke off waivers from the Texas Rangers.
Robertson is a reliever who made his debut with the Dodgers last year but struggled. This year with the Cardinals he has a 4.38 ERA, 14 K in 12.1 IP.
Burke has been with the Rangers since 2019 mostly as a reliever. Had a 1.97 ERA in 52 games in 2022, and 4.37 ERA in 53 games last year. This year he is struggling bad, 9.22 ERA in 13.2 IP. He obviously still is a solid reliever just needs to go somewhere else to find his pitching back.
