2 Dodgers win MLB Award

The awards for month of April are in! 2 Dodgers have won an award. Dodgers veteran LHP Clayton Kershaw has won the National League Pitcher of the Month Award for April with the stat line 5-1, 41 Ks, 1.89 ERA, .175 BAA. At age 35, Kershaw is one of the top starting pitchers so far this season. Many have their doubts about him but he's still pitching strong and continues to solidify his spot in the Hall of Fame. Hopefully he can keep this up for the season and we may see another Cy Young award for him.

The other award goes to Dodgers rookie OF James Outman who has won the National League Rookie of the Month Award for April batting .292 AVG, .991 OPS, 7 HR, 20 RBI. Outman is off to a wonderful start for a Rookie and is making a strong case so far for Rookie of the Year. Now it's still really early in the season but if Outman can maintain these stats, he will surely win the award.
